7 Things You Must Learn From BTS

7 Korean teens started out from nowhere, with just dreams like each one of us, conquering the world with their music. Things must have been quite hard for them. Though BigHit Entertainment, their families, friends and we fans are there to support them, their success is mainly because of their music and the messages they want to give us.

Their accomplishments don’t stop here and they are growing – in their music, as good human beings.

They surely are people to learn something from. Here is a list of most important things we all should imbibe from BTS

1. Learn new things:

The boys are constantly polishing their skills and literally pull off anything you name (in the field of music) –song-writing, composing, editing, producing, (singing and rapping of course comes first). Obviously they were not born that way or did not even debut that way (not all of them). They learned many things with fervor and are excelling at those now.

They are learning English though their schedules are busy af. Jungkook learns and becomes best at everything he touches…directing, boxing, exercising, being some of the things.

2. Practice to Perfection!

If you think you failed at something and cannot do it anymore, just remember how our boys practice everything till they nail it. All the members do everything up to perfection. Their strong, lithe dance moves are achieved after hours of practice everyday.

3. Let haters do the talking

We all know to what extent the haters, antis, solo stans and the fan war squads go to for defaming BTS and spreading God-knows-what-not poisonous things about them. These things affect not only BTS but all the idols. But our boys never show that they are being affected, rather they speak with their music and actions. The results? Millions of people around the globe love them like anything.

4. Respect everyone.

How can one be so humble and down to earth even after achieving SO MUCH in life?! Literally, BTS never fail to show respect to fans, BigHit staff, media, fansites and other artists, everyone without minding any age gap or gender. Not many international artists do so. BTS members live so low key and never brag about their money or status to others.

They have done many generous donations for good causes of education. Many ARMYs, inspired by them, donate for goodwill, in the members’ or BTS’ names. We ARMYs are hella proud of them.

So, more the respect and love you give to others, the more you receive it back!!

5. Don’t be shy to cry

Since ages, the ‘Men do not cry’ rule has been followed. Especially in India. BTS members, when they can’t control their emotions, they show it. They do cry on the stage, or in front of camera. They are so soft that it personally hurts me to see them cry. I cry along with them too.

So next time, when you feel like bursting with emotions, cry your heart out and listen to BTS then cry more!

6. Break the Stereotypes

Outlawed by the society, things such as guys wearing make-up, pink, accessories etc and serious issues like academic pressure, depression have been tackled in BTS’ music. Their MVs are absolutely breathtaking and have a unique way of storytelling. The MVs show these things very accurately.

7. How Energetic!

BTS members never – literally never—get tired of any stupid game they play in Run BTS or otherwise, any task they have. They practice for hours, shoot constantly, recording, touring, and what not… Even Suga, though he loves doing nothing and sleeping, instantly turns so active, you wonder ‘Is he the same person?’ Their energy on stage is completely on another level. In spite of injuries, they give their best to the audience, putting us fans over anything else. Oh how can one be so loving??

While these were the values everyone – ARMY or not – must learn from Bangtan, I too should throw off my laziness and start doing something productive!! TT TT

I will return with more interesting things later.
